Being the big game show fan that I am, I might as well keep you all up to date on the game show news in the world.

The host of the longest-running game show here in America is retiring at the end of this year. His name is Bob Barker, and he has been making people happy for 35 years. Here's hoping that whoever they pick is just as good as he is.

In other game show news, Des Lynam is leaving Countdown in England, and he will be replaced by... another Des! Des O'Connor is a rather well-known entertainer in England, and I think they made the right decision of who to replace Des Lynam. I saw Des O'Connor interviewing Shirley Bassey on his talk show, and he did a great job! He seems like a great guy!

Des O'Connor is a lovely and very funny man. He's been very popular for decades in both Australia and here in the UK. I grew up listening to Des on record courtesy of my father .
