I just went on thatguywiththeglasses.com to see NC's next video but he doesn't have one because he's busy doing an anniversary thing. I hate it when something like that happens. I don't really care much for his anniversary videos as I have never watched them and I don't watch any of these other videos from people who are not the Nostalgia Critic, though I do check out Linkara's review of the Power Rangers saga. I hate to sound mean but I want him to stick to reviewing movies and tv shows and nothing else. He better have one next Wednesday.

Didn't Doug get hitched last week? That might explain the lag in his new videos lately (that and all the editing for the 4th anniversary).

Honeymoon should be over by next week. I would expect at least another commentary if not a new review. Either way, it'll be an update.

I think people have been spoiled by him having a new one every week. It's difficult to keep up that kind of momentum...he needs a break at some point. With regards to the anniversary specials, eh...the brawl was funny in some parts, Kickassia was pretty forgettable, but Suburban Knights was epic and quite memorable. You don't have to watch the other reviewers to enjoy them.

I just happened to read about it when I was looking on the CA forums when I was trying to find out the story behind the Spoony situation.

I was quite disappointed with his recent review of 'More Than Meets The Eye'. In my opinion, Nostalgia Chick's general review of Transformers G1 was miles ahead of Doug's take on the first episode three-parter. That being said, I didn't actually HATE it that much as some other people.

I have to say I've kind of drifted away from Doug since discovering tgwtg.com. I enjoy Linkara, Lupa, Film Brain, Spoony, and Phelous, and have recently checked out Angry Joe, Blockbuster Buster, and Welshy, and I find each of them funnier than Doug in general. I find Doug quite good when he just sits down and does a review... those are my favourite videos of his. As NC, I think he's outperformed by many of the other folks on the site.

As for the Spoony issue... Hmm... What to say about that? I find the whole thing very strange. It almost looks like a publicity stunt for both Spoony and Lupa. But then, they wouldn't suspend Spoony for 4 weeks for nothing (prior to his indefinite parting-of-ways with tgwtg.com). I'm unfamiliar with the context of Spoony's tweet (was it in reply to anything by JesuOtaku or Nash?), and I find it curious that JesuOtaku doesn't appear to have taken a stance on it either way; though perhaps it does say something that she's not interfering with Lupa defending her. I dunno, maybe Spoony really is that difficult to work with. Prior to his ban, I was really enjoying his vlogs and his Highlander reviews, as well as his reviews of bad video game movies. Eh, anyway. I think the drama is mostly childish.
