I'd just recently purchased these 2 Disney films on Blu Ray and the weird thing is that while watching the films they both have two black bars, one on the left and one on the right that sorta shorten the pictures. Both my TV and Blu Ray player have the picture formats of 16.9 which is exactly how it's suppose to be showing all the stuff like the things that show at the bottom when you pause the films so I had to use the picture mode button that sorta zooms in and fills up the screen and while it does work I kinda want it to be 16.9 and fill up the screen and not have it so big when I press the picture mode button because I've noticed in 16.9 that the Blu Ray picture is very clear yet when I expand it, it's still there in a way but sometimes it looks like expanding it may have taken it away. I also have The Lion King, Lady and the Tramp and Beauty and the Beast on Blu Ray and there picture modes are OK. I dunno maybe this only affects the Pre Disney Ressisance films (though Lady and the Tramp isn't one of those) but I hope when they release The Little Mermaid and Aladdin on Blu Ray they will not require the expand because I want every to fit in the 16.9 picture.
Does anyone else have these 2 films on Blu Ray and notice the same thing?
