I was watching the first movie on Blu Ray today and I've seen this movie many times in the past and it's one of my favourites but watching it today I felt a little bored and uninterested as if I don't like it anymore, but I'm pretty sure I still do. Movies like Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor seem more interesting than Iron Man nowadays but I still like Iron Man the character more I think. I hope Iron Man 3 will be an improvement.

You've watched the movie several times. It's quite possible that what's boring you isn't the character - it's the story. You have two options; wait for IM3 to come out and see how you feel, or start reading the monthly comic. Be warned - there's a lot of backstory for the comic if you hadn't been reading it already, and said backstory is only tangentially related to the movies...
