Well, I caught a few of them many, many years ago when it was on Comedy Central. They had some wacky stuff on there, I used to LMAO. I remember a skit where the performers were "in a space movie" and Eugene Levy was supposed to be Ernest Borgnine. To this day, I still remember Levy saying, "I know what you're trying to do, you're trying to make fun of me!" in his very close to Borgnine's voice, LOL!! I still laugh when I think of that line.

I am so glad to see these posts. And I LOVE Eugene Levy!

I also love this skit where John Candy plays Mike Chisel, small town 'dick'. Private detective.

And also, the sequence where Rick Moranis plays Woody Allen, Dave Thomas does Bob Hope and Joe does
Bing Crosby.

I used to watch SCTV years ago when it used to play on - I think - PBS. It was a genuine riot-and-a-half!
I recall a news skit where John Candy was on an eating strike. I think it was Levy, as the reporter, who said of Candy, "a big man, getting bigger all the time."

i'm beginning to feel that john candy had a bit of a death wish, rather like chris Farley, victor buono and john belushi. 'tis a pity. they all passed so young. :(

Very sad if that's so.

I use to watch SCTV when it was originally on. I bought the DVDs and my son enjoys it too.
Count Flloyd and his really scary movies. Johnny LaRue's budget busting crane shots. The commercials. Richard Harris singing MacArthur's Park
