Okay, so I was just wondering your favorite Harry Potter movie was.... Myself being a bit of a Harry Potter fanatic, it's pretty hard for me to chose except for the third and the sixth. The third because the characters did not wear uniforms, and the sixth because they added pointless humor, added useless scenes, and left out the major battle at Hogwarts...

My favorite is Deathly Hallows Part 1.

Least favorite goes to Goblet Of Fire, because they left out most of the good parts and replaced them with things that didn't even happen in the book.

Like having Durmstrang only being a school for boys and Beauxbatons only being a school for girls?
Or the extra part with the dragon in the first task?
Or leaving out the part of Hagrid being half-giant?

Also they left out the ENTIRE house elf subplot.
Overall I'm not entirely satisfied with 3, 4, or 5. After Chris Columbus left, I think it took them a while to get back on their feet. Though, 6, 7, and 7p2 were vastly improved IMO.

Oh that's right! S.P.E.W. or spew as Ron used to call it... I loved that part just got through reading it in the book...

One good thing about The Goblet Of Fire was the introduction of Voldemort. That at least felt like the book.

OOTP, no question. It was my favorite of the books, too. Occlumency, Umbridge, Bellatrix, OWL exams, multiple connections to neuropsychiatric disorders... I love every minute of it! :lol: My favorite part is probably Harry and Cho's kiss in the Room of Requirement. That or Harry becoming possessed by Voldemort near the end. The soundtrack is amazing, too.

For me, it's CoS. The only part where they left out the right things (that aren't extremely important for understanding the whole story). Even liked that film more than the book... which is rare for me.

OotP was the least likeable. Couldn't stand watching certain people or scenes. PoA was quite a mess, too.

Up until the werewolf bit, Prisoner of Azkaban by a long shot - it felt like the film finally had focus instead of Chris Columbus's rather clumsily-put-together directing . If I had a close second, it'd be Goblet of Fire. I hated what David Yates did to the series after that, and he unfortunately stayed for subsequent four movies.
