Aaaand we are back.

What an amazing opening to the season. I loved the performances in this episode. I can't wait to see what happens next.

The scene with grandma pontificating witlessly in the kitchen was amazing.

Argh, I forgot that season 3 just started Sunday - gotta make sure I Tivo'd it.

If you look up the show on Wikipedia, its based on an Israeli TV show.

It seems to me that it is more "inspired by" than "based on" the original Israeli show. This is in certain ways like "The Bridge" in relationship to "Bron/Broen"

I can see why people would like one or the other more, depending on how they come to it, but I don't see this as an inferior knock off--It's a different story about a different place.

I love Saul, Carrie and Dana--I will keep watching just to know what happens to these characters.
