What are your favorite movies that are regarded as cult classics?

Do they really still do the Rocky Horror Picture Show? That was big when I was in high school in the late seventies.

I believe so, but the musical hasn't been around in Broadway since early 2002 due to financial losses as a result of 9/11. There is a 2012-13 UK tour that's happening year-round in the United Kingdom.

I probably need a definition of cult movie. I used to consider Pulp Fiction a cult movie, but since it grossed over $100M at the box office, I guess that's pretty mainstream.

Some of the cult movies (low budget, poorly received, grassroots-having) films I've seen were primarily horror like the Rocky Horror Picture Show, I Spit On Your Grave, Cube, etc.

Here's a few that I really enjoy

The Crow (first is a classic, second sucked, third at least tried, avoided the fourth, not sure about the remake.)

The Phantom (Billy Zane, Kristy Swanson, Treat Williams...'nuff said.)

The Shadow (extremely underrated movie, but I heard the current Blu-Ray sucks. Waiting for January's reissue from Shout Factory.)

Also known as "Attack of the Mushroom Men".

Never seen the Japanese classic from 1963. The title alone (either of the two titles) makes it unique, to say the least.

I don't really understand the word cult in movie form that much. I mean I guess Star Wars which is very popular doesn't count but here are a list of movies that maybe considered cult and I apoligise if I add any that aren't:
