He smokes, drinks, steals, and is proud of it! Sometimes I think if I could be any fictional character it'd be Bender. For God's sake he can remove his head and store loot in his chest. He is a master criminal. He has managed to travel time. Floozie bots fall to him like dominoes. Basically he is immortal. Super strength in the form of bending power. Somehow, he is 40% of everything. This bending unit is a natural leader.

Really though, even if you don't care at all for Bender, you can BITE MY SHINY METAL ASS!

Go fsck yourself. If anything Matt Groening is a hack. Give me Chuck Jones, David DePatie, Friz Freleng, Walt Disney and Tex Avery any day!

I like Max Fleischer's old Betty Boop cartoons, with the period music numbers in them. They're like psychedelic trips with old jazz. Groovy. :drunken:

I think more to the point:

Bender has met god, Bender has been god, Bender is the only conscious mortal robot and Bender has saved the universe.

While most people would consider Bender chaotic neutral or neutral evil, I would argue he is actually a neutral good character who does not always know the good, but in some Socratic way, does the good when he can.

It was interesting to watch the character transition towards the end after he found out he was mortal.

He is definitely interesting to consider.

I'd say he's my favorite Futurama character and probably in my top 100 characters ever. :D

Not the greatest ever but he's a favourite with me. Met John DiMaggio at a con a few years ago cool guy.
