There are some shows that I missed when they were still on TV, either because I didn't get to watch them or I didn't want to watch them. However, now that they're off the air, I want to know what I was missing. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Yes, although I can't think of any specific examples right now. I've also missed the first season or two of a series and then wanted to start watching it, but then I wasn't able to get into the series at all (or at least as much as I could have) because I was missing important information from the first few seasons.

I feel simular about these things and I always have a habit of getting into shows long after they premier as i don't actively seek new programming at the seasons start, rather I discover channel surfing now and then. An issue we have here in Canada is that I often can't watch old episodes of USA based shows on the internet becouse they are region blocked! Even though we have a paid cable subscription to the channels.

Warner Home Video needs to finish their DVD releases of Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Ed Edd n Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog. They also need to release other shows on season-based DVD sets (seriously, no Cow and Chicken or I Am Weasel?), probably sign on with Shout! Factory to release them, like Nickelodeon did.
