I recently re watched As Good as it Gets, a picked up on something on a personal level, originally found Jack Nicholson's character grappling with his affection for the woman he loved and his routine amusing on a comedic sense, now that my routine had recently been messed up because of the same situation much to my simultaneous enjoyment and annoyance I appreciate it even more. Sure I don't have an extreme Case of OCD but I still have my habits that usually take over my free time usually.

There are a few other films that i really like on a whole new level besides that but that's the most recent example. What movies reverbeate with you in retrospect after rewatching them?

"The Aviator", big time. I especially like the two scenes near the end dealing with Senator Brewster trying to psyche out Hughes, but he plays through the pain. The scene with the Senate hearing is one of my all time favourites in film, especially as he enters, walking past all the hated popping flashbulbs like he invented the f*ckers.

Its weird, because I've had times like those, where all the sudden I had no inhibitions, I knew just what to do and when to do it, I felt like I was God going slumming. It's the same feeling I get when I drive super-fast through traffic on the highway, like time slows down.

I'm trying to figure out if I can feel that way all the time, or if there will always be reclusive periods of screaming while naked and unshaven.

Titan A.E.- One of the few if any movies where I can relate to the character (I suspect he could have some AS tendindies himself) being totaly distrustful of people and then slowly learning to trust them and then having one stab you in the back and also being thrown into a situation that is way beyond you control.
