Anybody here watch or used to watch Digimon? I personally used to watch it until the third series or season or whatever(the one where they play the card game and fight the D-Reaper), then stopped.
(Also, if anyone here knows where to get the card game's starter packs 3 and 4 English version, that would be really helpful.)

I used to watch the show, that was years ago, it was one of the shows that would show on tv before going to school. I still think the movie aint bad, with the first part being Tai and Kairi's first meeting of a digimon, the second an artificially made digimon, and the third set in America.

I also used to have the hand held pet digimon, I basically became the champion of my school with my Were-garurumon. And I had good fun with a game on the PS1, which fighting game with the characters of the first three seasons.

I used to like Digimon as a kid too. I still like the artwork for seasons 1, 2,and 3 but I don't care about anything after that. The English cards are really hard to find. I think most likely at anime conventions you could find some. There are always really nice Japanese card lots on ebay. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Digimon-Digital- ... 336fd7603b I've considered getting some lots before because the original Japanese artwork is really nice.
There are also really cool cosplays for it:

I got these shots at the convention I went to

Cool show. I really liked it when I was younger, though it got a little weird when the kids could merge with their digimon, or something.

I use to love Digimon, probably more than Pokemon. For me it's the first 2 seasons. I saw the third season on Fox Kids and I don't think I liked it that much.

I watched it every Saturday when I was a kid. I loved the whole concept of Digivolution and the fact that the Digimon could talk, and I wished Pokemon would've been the same way. The first season was my absolute favorite, and I liked the 2nd season enough to name my cat at the time after one of the characters (Cody). I didn't like the third season very much and I don't think I even finished it.

I can't decide out of the 2 seasons which is my favourite, maybe the first, but I will say that the first did have a better finale which began with the kids and their digimon defeating Apocalymon and ended with them saying goodbye with each other. But the second season had that whole wishing and dreaming crap that defeated MaloMyotismon. The only thing that saved it was when Imperialdramon used that big cannon to finish him off.

i loved this as a kid but only the first 2 groups of kids. after that i couldnt really connect with the characters. i loved all the movies too especially the one where they all end up in the real world and everyone gets a digimon. i might be remembering the details wrong but i dont care. i used to fantasise about being in the digiworld all the time.

How did Ken's brother die? It was never clearly explained. I remember an image of him falling so... was he hit by a car? fall from a high place?

Awww! I remember that show! I loved it. I always thought the punching cactus should have been the Capri Sun mascot. Or Taco Time.

I liked the first 2 or 3 seasons. Especially the part where they went around the world. It was very well written.

Digimon Adventure (the first season) is probably my most nostalgic show ever. I preferred Pokemon at the time, but I think Digimon holds up better. Heck, Tamers (the third season) is a darn good show, from the little bit I've re-watched! Also, I still crack up at Matt's "Forest of Street Signs" joke (or whatever he said) from the first season. Is that weird?

Digimon used to be my childhood favorite. But I have no intention of watching it again as I am too old too watch it.

I secretly liked the Digimon anime better than the Pokémon anime: the Digimon and the kids actually interacted as equals, none of that cockfighting BS that was Pokémon's selling point; Digimon didn't recycle the same plot structure for every episode. While, especially for both shows' respective first seasons, there was a 'quest' element that really appealed to me in both series, I think Digimon ended up looking the best, because there was more of a real danger, and the villains were more powerful (more importantly, every follow-up villain was scarier than the previous one), and through the course of the season, the kids also get separated from each other for multiple episodes.

So yeah, for me, it was Digimon all the way, even though I was a Pokémon freak back in the day, and owned the games, stickers, and a lot of beanie dolls, but I did have a stuffed Gatomon and Gabumon. My favourite was Gomamon, but I couldn't find it for some reason.
