Which Nixon biopic is better?

Personally, I like Nixon better, because of the colorful language used.

Oh, there was pretty colorful language used in Frost-Nixon.

And you realize of course that a good case can be made that Nixon was aspie?

Good question. They're both different interpretations. Frost/Nixon is the better film and Langella the better performance, but Nixon gets more into the man's psychology - it's only undone by Stone's lack of self control.

It's fun to watch Nixon, JFK, W back to back. I hear he's making one about Clinton soon.

I liked Nixon because the term "c**k-sucker" was used numerous times.

Nixon's secretary must have deleted part of Tim_Tex's post!

I decided to go with the obscure historical reference instead of the "expletive deleted" reference.

I lived in the Washington D.C. area during that time and was glued to the TV for almost all of the Watergate hearings. I have been a news junkie ever since.

I haven't seen the films in the poll yet. What about the movie: "Dick?"

Name of the movie is -Dick-. It is very funny. It explains everything from the breakin to the eighteen minute gap.

I haven´t seen Nixon yet but I´ve seen Frost/Nixon and I liked it very much. I thought that the actors were very good at the movie. Frost first appears as a playboy and gets lots of psychological pressure from Nixon. Kevin Bacon only gets a secondary role I think he is in a bad phase.

Just watched "The Assassination of Richard Nixon". Yikes!

Nixon is just a tangential character here, so it doesn't really apply, but man that's a good film. Pretty hard to take, but good.

I can't really describe it right now, just having watched it, but if you like bleak drama, it's definitely worth watching. (Of course pretty much anything Sean Penn or Don Cheadle do is worth watching.)

I think it's a film that would be relevant to Aspies of a certain type.
