Hi, my name is Kenny and I'm 19. It feels good to actually post on the forum for once. I've been lurking for quite a while now, just reading different posts and such, trying to gather some understanding about AS.

I have been doing a lot of reading up in some books and watching videos on the subject, too. I don't have an official diagnosis, but from everything I have gathered thus far, I can say almost certainly that I am an aspie. I also scored 173/200 on the aspie test. I see a whole lot of my life in most everything I have read here. It's odd for me to see so many moments and situations I have had to deal with in so many other people.

I have been really struggling these past few years trying to cope with this strange force in my life that has turned me into a social outcast. But like I said I have learned a lot of new things about myself and things have been much better, although it's still kinda bad. I suppose it couldn't get much worse. Anyways, I'm really glad to be a part of this wonderful community.

That is not exactly why I just started posting Gazz85. Everytime I find a cool place to hang out and chat online, I start to get all worried about how the people on there might react to me.
I usually only post once or twice and feel like I have made a complete fool of myself, even though it isn't the case. I get this way when I play games online and at LAN parties too. I'm really nervous at first and get shaking and loose my cool, but I begin to realize that there is nothing to worry about and it usually goes away.
I have a hard time getting comfortable around people at first, even if it is online, but I feel better here because I know we can all understand and relate to one another.

Hey, welcome.

Wow, I'm the complete same way about posting things online. I'm scared sometimes I come across differently than I want to or people will think I'm crazy or something.

School used to suck for me...I was always the target of bullies and it really sucked and I hate then anyone has to go through anything. So I'm sorry you're dealing with some social problems. Anyway, I'm here if you ever wanna talk...
