Hello! I was diagnosed with Asperger's last week. I have had social problems all my life but I never knew why. I'm 34 now and recently things got so bad with people that I desperately sought out help. After a lifetime of being misunderstood I am excited to find a community of people who will understand me.

Hi Aspiemergent, I was in a similar situation about a year ago. It certainly helped me to accept myself as different to the norm, and realise what situations will make me feel uncomfortable and why. Dean
