Hi everyone:

I am new on here and am not even diagnosed yet. I seem to have a lot of the symptoms of Asperger's and have a cousin with the condition. I have always thought it was just depression with A.D.D. Now i am not so sure. So I guess I am going to have to fork over the $2,500.00 that it takes to be tested here in Toronto, Ontario. I am kind of scared to know but tired of not knowing. Finding out about me may help a lot of my other relatives with "issues"! !

Also, it is possible to be tested/diagnosed for far cheaper than that! Check out some of the local agencies for some help finding a specific doctor or psychologist in your area. It is possible to get a referral to a neuropsychiatrist and it would be covered by OHIP, although it may take a number of months to get the appointment.
