Welcome along i have just joined myself, my son seems to have an ASD and he is very intelligent, we are now awaiting assessment to get him diagnosed.

I am also intelligent, infact one of the most intelligent in my class. I know a lot about maths and geography.

A lot of aspies (and, in fact, just about all other forms of autism) tend to be pretty smart. It's just that different people are smart in different ways. Especially when one considers the "obsession", that is, the subject of intense focus most people with AS have, which they know more about than just about anyone. My obsession was Final Fantasy for a while, but now it's more about the fantasy genre in general.
