I'm mainly a sports guy, I've been playing rugby in the Boston area for a few years now. I guess you can say my major, too, I'm an Actuarial Sciences major.

Hello Joe86,

I didn't know rugby was played in USA. I always think of it as a game played in Australia, NZ and Great Britain. KBABZ is from New Zealand - those All Blacks are always beating us!

And forgive my ignorance but what is Actuarial Sciences?

Smelena

Hey Smelena.
Rugby's a minor sport here in the USA, but thanks to our huge population, it's still enough to make us a top 15 team in the world. I'd like to see it more popular, though.

Actuarial Sciences is the use of Mathematics, Statistics, Probability, etc in Finance and Insurance. Actuaries deal w/ risk a lot, in essense.

Joe, the 86 your year of birth?
Actuarial science looks interesting - actually applying uses to mathematics rather than doing maths for the sake.
Whats ECW?

Yep, I turned 21 last month.
ECW = Extreme Championship Wrestling.

Even though I liked the pre-WWE owned ECW a lot more.
