Other reasons are a good sense of gesalt and wholeness.
I can see optical illusions and the like.

Hmmmm? Explain?????

Autistic Persons tend to lack a sense of geshalt, and tend to "miss" optical illusions. Also refers to literallness, which is not so much a problem for me, I can figure out most expressions. . .I don't remember where I read this from.

But I frankly was a complete loner after the age of 4 or 5.
I did not participate with others or attempt to. Even though
there were "deaf" cliques at the school, I did not even integrate
with them, except when I would impress them with my stregth
and sometimes itelligence.

Hmmmmm? how much hearing is there now? Are you still like
this to one degree or another?

My hearing was more or less restored by a cochlear implant (wiki it for more information) but I don't have the developmental background (that is, I grew up with far less than normal hearing provided by hearing aids and my brain is not able to process the sound very well) for complete hearing. Yes, I am still a loner and it dosen't bother me except for the occasional bouts of lonineless. I have never been able to integrate into a group for a peroid greater than two weeks.

In MS I had some nocturnal seizures (of the classical sort).

Huh! Ok! Please explain?????????

I had four seizures in my sleep from ages 12 to 16. Muscles tightened up, I drooled, and did the typical shaking and were witnessed by my brother (bunk beds) and my mother. I have no direct memory of the events but I did wake up very sore and with a badly bitten tougue.

MRI's and EEG's found a Lesion on the left amygdala and
abnormal spiking in the left temporal lobe.

Hmmmmm?

Run a google on "Amygdala Lesions Behavoir" and you will notice that the behavoirs are quite similar to aspergers/schizopenzics.

I'm also 100% Aspergers, and I think I may be on the high-functioning end, but I'm not totally sure.

I think it is a bit harsh on him, as everyone will see it and it seems more like a slur (although he did do it to himself, you are publicizing it) than a genuine attempt to confront him. My advice (you don't have to take it) is that you change your signature and PM sean about it (what he said).

Thankyou, I hope the message sank in for Sean,
it is removed!
