I love ragdolls. Are they common in the UK?
My chausie died on 2-20 of this year (last month). She was the light of my life, as was my Siamese before she passed in 2012.

I think they are- I'm sure I read somewhere they are one of the most popular breeds here :) I generally like all cats though. :cat:

I'd not heard of Chausie's before but they seem lovely and so cute! I'm sorry to hear about your loss :(, before my Ragdoll I had a ginger cat who I loved dearly for 16 years- I feel lucky to have spent so long with him.

I love them so much.
Awwww...You can't trust a person who doesn't like cats, right?

Well, that was a long and draining day. I just hope that knowing about the ADOS-2 and other measures didn't prompt me to "act more autistic" (but I'm afraid it probably did, which throws my money out the window, so hoping). Today they closed due to the virus, and any other Qs they have or people in my life they need to talk to will be on the phone. It seemed like they're confident it's autism but the supervisor needs to coordinate with the intern and perhaps others.
IQ test wasn't bad; she administered it, I didn't have to hunch over yet another questionnaire.
Then, during the break, which itself is a task (and remember, they're probably filming you, even when they leave the room), the assessor tried to prompt a social response by yawning, sighing etc. When I didn't react to that, she tapped her pencil on the desk and made similar noises until I couldn't take it any more and told her to please stop.

It's good you managed to get the ADOS and the IQ test done before they closed. Standard procedures for both of these require in-person meetings. I wonder how this will be handled if the CoViD-19 crisis goes on for too much longer.

I read somewhere that the ADOS or ADOS-2 can be adapted to teleprocedures somehow.

She said, "I am actively working on your write-up. My hope is to have a feedback session with you within this month.
At that time we can go over what diagnosis, or diagnoses, have been determined."

Does this sound to you like she has already determined the diagnosis?

This coming Thursday I'll find out if I'm autistic. I know I'm neurodivergent either way, since I have OCD. As long as I find relief from my own mind, I'll be happy.

I didn't have to fill in one of those forms?

At 10 am today (in 2 hours and 5 min), at my zoom meeting with my psychologist, I will find out if I'm autistic!
