This is a pointless and random place, so I thought I'd share a pointless and random (and utterly benign) "pole" pun I was actually able to pull off IRL:

I was standing around with a group of friends and somehting about the way I was standing promtped one of them to say I should be leaning against a pole, and another one of them stood right behind me to continue the joke. I turned around and said,

"I didn't know you were Polish."

((despite the mention of ethinicity I've scanned this one for possible offensiveness and it comes out clean for me, anyway, if it's not please tell me why))
