I was around eleven. I got diagnosed for Aspergers by trying to get diagnosed for epilepsy.

Diagnosed at 5, but I didn't figure out what it meant until only recently.

A couple of years ago when I was 47. My diagnosis has been so positive for me; it explains everything about who I am and how I behave...and how others react to me. It's also meant that I've been able to access some support from Social Services and a bit more money in benefits. Alas, it's too late for many things to happen for me though.

16, but I didn't really accept it until I was 18. Although the doctors told me I had it I kept thinking that I just wasn't trying hard enough.

I was diagnosed for the first time with AS when I was 6, but I found out I had it only e few months ago (my mother told me), when I was diagnosed with Tourette's, too.
