Hey everyone.
I am in my fourth year of study at university studying aerospace engineering - something I find incredibly interesting. Since I am now in my final year I have been set a research project to undertake and am happily ensconsed away in my laboratory for roughly 11 or 12 hours every day
I've never told my friends that I have AS, they just assume that I am a bit strange and don't go out too much.
I've found a number of ways to get around with strangers - I've got a method of looking in people's eyes that I hope doesn't make people uncomfortable and I've learnt some kind of questions to ask people (kind of small talk) even though I'm not really interested in the answers they give. But I know for 'social reasons' that I can't just ask what I really want, but have to skirt the issue and then eventually ask people!
Just want to say hi, and thanks for all the advice I have read in the forums so far.
You guys are really great!
