Hi everyone.
My real name is James and I live in a suburb of NYC

I am eighteen and I just turned it in January.My mom and dad had divorced awhile ago and my brother is like twenty three...lives nearby.I live with my mom and will while I go to Rockland Community College

I like books and music mostly and I all my day is spent reading both online (Wikipedia and other fact sites to an extent and forums) and offline with books on all types of things.
I like philosophy and history and math is cool which very few people think anyway.
I like most of my academic subject sbut I really don't like the way things are taught in school.

My music ranges greatly but I like Elliott Smith a whole lot. In fact almost all indie is good. I like goth rock too. A lot of punk and metal.Classic Rock bands are really good...The Who and all that.

Another odd thing about me is how rarely I watch TV almost never.

I have never worked day in my life.
I want to go to college for history or philosophy maybe a science or engineering
I would like to be a lawyer for a career maybe but I have yet to give up on science
Any comments?

I have one question for you. How exactly are you "gloomy with regret?" Yes, I know that you have never worked a day in your life and you want to go to college for history or philosophy. I would put my mind to it. You can do anything you put your mind to doing.
