If sounds could be personified, it probably wouldn't be me, but it sure would be cool. :D

My name's Miles, I'm 28, only recently realizing I fit the pattern, been diagnosed, lookin to understand it a bit better.

I'm not the shy type, not anymore, so feel free to drop me a line any time. Particularly if you like talking about modern computer-based music production. That's my 'thing' nowadays. And sound design, a passion of mine. Audio engineering, music theory, acoustics... Really anything even remotely involved in making music.

And since I'm on the subject, if you're ever curious about getting involved in making music using computer-based tech, feel free to ask me anything. I've been seriously considering offering up lessons on getting started on the whole home-studio thing. Tons of fun, a very deep craft and hobby.

Hm.... I'm also pretty into computers, networking, that stuff... I read a lot of text books, trying to learn SQL (it's so marketable...)... I think that about covers it, I can't think of much else at the moment so there ya go.

Hi!

Hello,

Music has been my life as well. I have always created (or rather they just come to me) complete works in my mind, but I never had the confidence to really try getting it out into the real world. But I just started to get serious about it a few months, going through a bunch of books, started taking a private music theory lesson a couple times a month with a local place. Currently researching which laptop to get (seriously considering the Clevo D900F). I am trying to use and learn Cubase 5, Record, Renoise 2.5, and Alchemy. The kind of music I want to make is like Squarepusher, basically IDM/glitch, but the beats are so complex and of course I focus on the details, so I still haven't really figured out a good way to do this yet. Also love film music like Hanz Zimmer, and of course the greatest composer ever is Kitaro.

I am also a network engineer by trade. Anyway, hope you really wouldn't mind teaching me some things.

Awesome! I'm a Cubase user as well.
I could seriously talk all day about some details, my relevant experiences when starting out, and suggestions. But now that I think about it, is there is probably better places to ramble about it..
