Hi all,

I'm Ben. 35yo, British and living in London, and got my dx last week. I hadn't ever really considered AS despite knowing I was a bit different my whole life and wondering why I jest didn't understand other people. An ex-girlfirend of mine (we're still really good friends) has a son with AS, and saw the signs in me, so recommended I look into it and...here we are.

I don't tend to stim, have good eye contact and have learned to give the appearance of being NT although it took me long enough (but God, ain't it draining to sham that you're someone else entirely?) - but I have found that I've now reached the point in life where my differences are once again starting to show, and it has caused problems at work. Good thing is that the dx means that I can home in on where I'm making mistakes and maybe help myself a bit more.

Anyway - great to be on here and I look forward to chatting to you all.
