hi, im julie, im not diagnosed but asd has been suggested and im pushing for an assessment.

like someone else wrote here not sure if it's asd or i am just really odd!

interested in getting into teaching late in life and am interest in autism for that reason too.

Hi Julie, Have you taken the 'AQ test' yet? that would be a simple way to see if you have AS. There are other tests available, and being able to show a doctor a test result is likely to provide you with the processional help you may need

Yes, have taken it many times and score highly but never thought of showing to my Dr or Psychiatrist - good idea thanks.

As in all matters some drs are good at understanding others less so. AS is a very special area, so even the best of them will benefit from an informed patient - good luck! :)
