I am new here and I am hoping to find friends and interesting people to talk to with subject material that actually interests me. Most people that I meet are not interested in the things that I am interested in which are Science, politics, psychology, WWII History, Philosophy are among some of the things I am interested in. I am 17 so these kinds of subjects are not interesting to many of my peers.

Hi, I can totally relate to what you mean, I'm 19, and none of my friends have much interest in what I'm talking about most of the time. If it doesn't relate to drinking, smoking, partying and girls, I've lost them. I have a limited interest in all those subjects, but they're things I dabble in, and don't really spend a lot of time on. For me its mostly gaming, reading, writing, music (90s rock and rap) and guitar playing. I have a decent interest in world war II history, but more for ancient history. Gosh the things we love eh?
