Hi everyone, my name is Alex, and I'm mum to 2 girls. A 14 yr old who knows EVERYTHING 
and a 10 yr old who has newly been diagnosed with aspergers/dyspraxia/adhd, although of course it's not a new diagnosis to us, just the end result of a long hard 5 yr fight!
My poor daughter bless her, feels so isolated from her peer group. She doesn't know anyone else with aspergers (although I do know there is at least one other aspie kid in her school, but they don't want anyone else to know) and obviously finds it hard to maintain friendships etc with her classmates as they feel she is freaky/weird/temperamental etc.
So basically I am on here as a mum looking for advice, help etc on how to move forward with her from this point. And also anticipating getting to know some of you and hear about your experiences/lo's
