Can Someone PLEASE, PLEASE, please tell me how to upload an image. I want to have a picture of me as a thumbnail (or avatar i believe its called)

What's the maximum pixel*pixel size. and whats the maximum size (in kB, MB) that i can upload.

You will find this in the "Upload Avatar" area under "Edit Profile":

I usually re-size the image down to either the maximum height or width (with the other still being greater) and then crop as necessary for the other dimension.
