Hey Guys Its D0mination I have just recently discovered I have aspergers syndrome. I am actually somewhat Glad they finally found out wjhat was wrong with me.
As a child I Would often react very emotionally to situations. I would throw Horrid temper tantrums In which i would break things and then Be very depressed because i knew i was wrong bu couldn't stop. I have slightly betetr control now that i am 17 but still have anger issues. As a child i was very intelligent and often made Honor roll throughout Grade school. However In Middle school i began to notice my differences more consistently and became even more emotionally disturbed. In 9th Grade I contemplated suicide for months. it WAS REALLY HELL FOR ME TO HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL, I knew i was different but couldn't grasp Why. I felt alone, and had nobody to turn to. I was like this for 2 years until i finally came across an article in the local paper that described all the symptoms of asperger's syndrome. It all began to make sense to me. And I am now in 11th grade and am just beginning to come to terms with the actuality that i have asperger's . It helps alot knowing I am not alone and now know I was not crazy all these years.
Anyways I Wanted to say Hi and I wish everybody the best Of luck and a good day =)

Welcome!

If it's any help to hear, my story sounds very much like yours, except twenty five years on. I have a wife, a family and a fulfilling career, despite the tricks my brain keeps playing on me (and sometimes BECAUSE of the tricks my brain plays on me!) Hang on in there mate.
