Why hello there.

Hi folks. New to this place. Joined up out of frustration with other places being less...accustomed...to my quirks.

Anyway, I was diagnosed with Asperger's at about 12 and I've been pretty secretive about it. I think I told my best friend, one of my professors knows, and of course my family does, but that's about it. Getting through school was quite the endeavor, mostly in the social sector, but I managed. I'm now 20 and going to college, where I find many of the old problems I had in grade and high school still hold true. I'm really shy, certainly a learned trait from years of being the subject of most of the bullies harrassing me. I'm not looking for a pity party, just a bit of background.

I'm big into gaming, especially PC gaming. I'm a huge fan of Dynasty Warriors, Zelda (Especially Twilight Princess. Midna is my favorite character of all time.), Persona, and Mass Effect; not so much into puzzle games or military shooters like Call of Duty. I'd also like to get into voice acting when I get out on my own. I don't really watch movies or TV, and I couldn't talk much about music even though I enjoy it.

I'm not sure how much I'll be around. I check two other forums from time to time as well and I spend far too much time gaming.

Also just as a warning: try not to bring up love around me. It's a VERY sore subject.

You'll find a lot of people have similar stories. I myself had such a bad time I didn't make it through school!

There's a dedicated game subforum here, so you may find it interesting there - but I'm not into games so I don't really go there.

Welcome To WP! I love this site! No frustrations at all except what TenPencePiece said only when the website goes down that's what frustrates me!
