:salut: I'm new here. I have Asperger's (officially diagnosed), and it only took 19 years to figure out why I was different from my peers. I was always off by myself, in my own little world... bullied when I tried to make friends.... I've learned to cope with most of my shortcomings, but I've got Chronic Depression as a co-morbid condition and that's always a struggle.... It makes me feel better to see I'm not as alone as I tought I was.

...I don't really have much else to say.... wait... I think I should explain my avatar a bit. I'm a Zen practitioner you see, and the circle represents the Absolute, enlightenment, strength, elegance, the Universe, and the void. "Metsu," the kanji in the middle, means destruction, but in the sense of destroying the illusions that keep one from Nirvana (The actual word for this is "metsudo," but I like the way "metsu" looks). The manji, or swastika, signifies auspiciousness and good fortune as well as the Buddha's footprints and the Buddha's heart. :nerdy:

Hello. It took about 11-12 years for me, but I would have been diagnosed earlier if it weren't for my horrible dad. Anyways... Welcome!

And as for my profile picture, it's my main obsession right now.

Ratchet and Clank is awesome.... too bad I've never owned a system it's been on.... o_o
I tend to change the game I'm obsessed with every few months. Zelda, Call of Duty, Street Fighter, Resident Evil... those are only a few of them.

Anyway, I gotta log off. I have a class tomorrow. Sayonara! :salut:

Welcome to WrongPlanet, Akiba108!

You'll find a lot of people who will relate to yourself. I was diagnosed at 13.
Hope you enjoy your stay here :)
