Hi I'm new to this. Im from Oregon. I just recently found out that I have AS. When I found out it made a lot of sense. I always knew that something was off. I didn't seem to be able to function the same way other people do. Now that I know that I most likely have AS I can get diagnosed and be more proactive and understand why I do things others don't understand. I still have not told anyone yet (except for my fiance who also we suspect has AS). I am waiting to tell people because my family has not been very supportive of me in the past and I'm afraid of what my friends might say. Once it is official though I will be letting people know.

Hi fur frog. May I ask what led to your diagnosis?

My fiance was looking into it for herself and found that I fit the profile as well so we took a test and we both have a high probability of AS. I was previously diagnosed with ADD - no wonder the ADD meds never worked!
