I am a 28 year old female and am blessed with 2 beautiful children and enjoy non fiction reading, documentaries & science.

I first discovered I was an aspie about 3 years ago when I started a new job & found it really hard to make friends. I started judging myself, wondering why I was different & felt terribly lonely. All these negative thoughts and feelings led me down a dark tunnel of anxiety and depression which was the worst time of my whole life.

Anyway, I am out of the other side now & things are good. The reason I joined this site was to talk to people like 'me' I have a handful of wonderful friends and even though I love them to bits, our interests couldn't be further apart. Reading about aspergers has helped me a lot to understand myself, now I would like to join the aspie world, make new friends and pick up tips on how to deal with situations which are sometimes a struggle. x
