Well hello everyone. I've been diagnosed with Asperger's for 5 years now, and have had since come to understand it and myself better, but this is the first time and place I have to come to in attempt to discuss and get to know others who also deal with Asperger's as well. It seems there are few places on the internet where you feel like telling others you have Asperger's will do any good - they all seem to think "So what? This is the internet, no excuses...etc, or the good old "Ass burgers lol" remark.
I figured it was about time I could talk to people who might actually understand me better as a person, as I have only my family and a few friends who understand me and my Asperger's well enough.

Well, I'm also new here, but welcome!
From what I've been seeing in the forums, I'm sure this is the right place to talk to people like you and being understood.
