Hi everyone, I am Danielle
I have Asperger's as well as lot of other diagnosis(es?).
A List: feel free to Google them
Ulcerative Colitis
Cyclothymia
Anxiety
Seasonal Affective Disorder
Delayed Sleep syndrome (This is really just a way to pathologize night owls who can't adapt to a normal schedule, but I accept it because I can't adapt and people don't understand that. sometimes knowing it is a syndrome helps people get it, but not in my experience so far.)
Allergies (Seasonal and Outdoor, not food)
I am chronically depressed, but depression is also part of Cyclothymia.

Now to the personal stuff. I like singing, I sing so much I annoy people, luckily I have an ok voice, as well as the ability to learn songs perfectly super fast. I love the internet, I spend more time on it than I spend asleep. I love tv, I watch religiously. House MD is my favorite show, House reminds me of myself in some ways. I like medical shows (I love the field of medicine period, it has always been an obsession of mine.) and some dramas. I hate reality shows, they are taking over and ruining tv imho. I also like keeping up on the weather, I like maps. I like fashion, not necessarily trends though. I have my own style, but my size and poverty prevent me from indulging in it as much as i would like. :(
I live on a farm. Just a few chickens and fields that are leased out. I love cats, but they have to stay outside, partially because I am allergic. Outdoor cats have a high mortality rate. I have lost many kittys.

One of my biggest issues is my past/childhood. I was abused emotionally and psychologically my entire life. Most of it was by my parents and school personnel. I am very sensitive about it. No one in my life acknowledges the abuse other than saying it was my fault and at the same time denying it happened. It's illogical. I was also treated very badly by drs and psych-drs, I have nightmares about it.

I mostly fight with my constantly whining, impossible to please, slightly narcissistic mother who is a hoarder. My father is racist, homophobic, sexist, occasionally violent, and I believe he is slightly mentally handicapped. He shows signs of having a below average IQ at least. But If you were to meet him, you would think he was a nice guy, maybe a little brown-nosing and slightly oblivious. He is completely two-faced, it disgusts both me and my mother.

I have a brother 2 years younger, he is in college and now that he is in college, my parents thinks he is awesome. In reality, he is narcissistic to the point of delusion, and is occasionally violent like my father, and literally can't control his incessant talking.

I have a 5 years younger brother, he has horrid anxiety and doesn't talk much, just loves to play video games. He has a bit of middle child syndrome, even though he is my father's favorite. I think it comes from being the "dumb one" among above average intelligence siblings. He isn't actually dumb, he just has too much to compete with. He also makes the most cutting and cruel remarks to me out of the 3 of my siblings.

My youngest sister is 8 years younger, but we are the closest. She lets me dress her up and do her make up, that is our favorite game. She asks my advice she says it is good, but Idk how much longer that will last. She is very hyper and had meltdowns very similar to mine at he age.

My "flavor" of aspie is,

Sarcastic
hard to get to know, unable to more than shrug and nod when first meeting people.
I have a moral compass similar to Dr House, very unemotional unless my emotional triggers are involved.
Strong sense of smell, taste, and other senses, although I wear glasses I am very sensitive to light. I have no tolerance many noises at once. Most of my meltdowns that aren't abuse related are noise related.
I am very intelligent.
I apparently give off the vibe that I am lying or exaggerating most of the time, no one takes what I say seriously, although I suspect that some of it is due to having such as screwed up life, that people can't imagine it actually happening. I am quite sick of saying "I told you so" to the same people over and over. They should realize that I don't lie!
I am reclusive.
I understand most figurative language, but only by using the literal meaning and figuring out how it connects to the figurative in the origin of the word or phrase. I have to hear it and then learn it's meaning "manually". I don't understand many sexual references, but I can tell by someone's tone of voice that they are using an innuendo.
I like swinging and spinning and pressure, I don't mind if someone sits on me as long as they don't put pressure in the wrong place.
I am incredibly sensitive to humidity, heat, the sun. I am also cold sensitive, I am sensitive to temperature changes in general, I am never comfortable.
I do not make friends easy, big surprise.
Most of my friends/acquaintances are middle aged or older. I am close to some of my extended family, I am bffs with my cousin, I am close to 2 of my aunts and my grandma is my favorite person ever.
I tend to turn people off, I call myself a "people repellant" Hmm maybe I should hire myself out to a celebrity to keep annoying fans away.

Well I have written enough for now, too much I think.
Sorry
