Just joined, in hopes to find ways of dealing with my mother. I've recently been diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of almost 22, and she's not taking it too well. Came here hoping to find out what to do. (General autism discussion forum i guess?)

Otherwise i guess i'm fairly normal, whatever that means, for an aspie. Little to no friends (even in university), generally geeky, frequently misunderstood by normies for making valid reasonable points, and not at all a fan of smalltalk or chitchat.

Narrow interests include black metal, concert photography, learning Dutch, Belgian contemporary culture (focus on Flanders and Brussels, haven't met any Walloons or German speaking ones yet), and general gaming (mainly consoles with their pros/cons and demographics).
