Hi. I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome roughly a year ago at the age of 19. My counselor referred me to this website before I went through psychological testing and I have been lurking around this site on and off for some time now. I have a bad habit of registering on message boards and then never posting, so I hope I can participate, somehow, in this community. It's great being able to read so many relatable stories.

Hi Stygian! Welcome to Wrong Planet! Check out the many interesting and helpful forums here. I lurked for probably over a year before I finally registered here. I don't like to have to register with every site I visit. I have to really want to post or respond to posts at a site before I will take that step. I have probably been a registered member for almost two years now. I like the site, and get info here. I also like reading and responding to the posts here--maybe too much. I spend a lot of time just on this site alone, when I am online, so it means I spend less time on chores. Fortunately, I live alone, so I am the only one who has to live with my messy place.

I am glad your counselor referred you to this site. It's a good place for us. Just remember, you are among friends here at WP!
