I'm terrible at this introduction business, but I imagine that I'm not the only one around here who's a little awkward with this sort of thing.

I was belatedly diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome a while ago, having suffered through childhood and young adulthood with no answers as to what was afflicting me. I have come to suspect that TS isn't the only label that one could conceivably pin on me. Like many people with that disorder, I seem to have many characteristics commonly found on the autistic spectrum. I recently scored 36 on the Autism Spectrum Quotient test that Borat's cousin posted on the Internet, for what that's worth. So I have arrived here looking for more answers.

The General Autism Discussion forum is a good starting place for seeking answers - you'll soon realise that you are not alone. And there's a Random Discussion Forum if you just feel like discussing non-autism things.
