Hello,

I'm a 29 female from the Netherlands. And I'm currently in the process of getting diagnosed with Aspergers.
My special interest mainly concern music, mostly new stuff.
I'm also an avid reader, like watching movies and going out on occasion.

I've been reading the post on wrongplanet for a while now just thought i would make myself known.

No worries :)

I don't really know many of those bands XD I have heard of Black Sabbath though hehe.

Ah, I mainly listen to modern, pop music. I listen to the radio a lot. Linkin Park is my favourite band. I like Pink too. I like songs a variety of bands and singers like Maroon 5, The Offspring, Simple Plan - that's just some XD

Hoi hoi!

Leuk om landgenoten tegen te komen hier. Nederland is een beetje ondervertegenwoordigd, heb ik het idee. Ik zal verder maar Engels lullen, anders snappen de andere er niks van

Anyway, welcome to Wrong Planet! I'm a big movie fan, so since we're asking for your favourites anyway - do you have any? Fan of tv shows too? There have been a bunch of really great series the last couple of years.

Not that familiar with most of the bands you've mentioned, though. It's mostly rock/metal, right?

I find it so difficult to name favorite movies.
I like the movies of Jodorowsky a lot.

Mostly I would say is what they dub 'indie', rock and metal will do as well

I looked up some of the bands you've mentioned, and I'm guessing Lost in Translation might be another favourite of yours. Awesome film with an awesome soundtrack. Not familair with Jodorowsky. I've read about El Topo a while back, should be a good movie.

The song Oscillations has the best videoclip by the way. Love the reaction shots, if you can even call them that.

ah kewl :)

what did you think?

I saw El Topo and Holy Mountain on the big screen recently and it was quite something.
I also had the opportunity to see Silver Apples live, that's without Danny Taylor nowadays but, with the original recordings they made.
But, a new tour is coming I read somewhere. Do you like going to gigs yourself?

I've only heard a couple of songs, but I like the style. I only know 'Jesus and the Mary Chain' from the Lost in Translation soundtrack. Couple of great tracks on there, might be worth checking out. I'm on my break from work, so I'll look for some more songs later.

I'd love to go to some more gigs, but most of the bands I listen to (not that many, honestly) don't visit Holland more than maybe once a year, if I'm lucky. I'm also great at checking their tourdates one or two days after they've done a show here, so I've missed some of the shows a couple of times. Shame really, it's always a lot of fun. Maybe it's time to find some new bands to listen to, might fix my problem
