I'm Allen.

Diagnosed with Aspergers late 30s. Explained a lot.

From England, live in the states - am a Geordie - from Newcastle specifically.

I run restaurants and theaters by trade which is amazing considering how social you have to be and how socially inept I've been my whole life. I fake it pretty much every day when I'm at work - I've gotten good at mimicing the best managers I've worked with during my life.

I am happy with Aspergers. Yes, I've missed some things, but I don't hold the myopic views that NTs have and I enjoy being different. I love not being limited in what I think.

I looked at this site years ago, but never stuck with it, would like to maybe talk with people who are like me and 'get' me. I tell people I have Asperbergers, everything changes so I don't tell people and fake it. Hopefully I'll stick with it this time and maybe make some friends.
