Ok I've been sitting at the computer for about 30 seconds trying to determine what to write here, but here it goes:

I am 19 years old, going to college, and have been diagnosed with a mild case of AS (about 2 years ago). I've always found it incredibly difficult to forge and maintain friendships, but my online gaming and communications tend to make up for that. I don't do too well in school, but I can get by. I am majoring in physics and would eventually like to study in fields in theoretical physics. I wouldn't really call myself smart, just someone with intense interests and the discipline to become well read about them.

One of my talents is in music. I have absolute pitch, meaning I can tell what key a song is in or if a note is out of tune with the one used in convention. This makes sense; I've been exposed to music since I was an infant. While I don't widely use this talent anymore, I thought it would be interesting to share.

Anyway I hope this intro wasn't too awkward. Salutations.

you are too, smart. perfect pitch requires an IQ above 150, while 140 and above is defined as genius. welcome to WP.

Odd; my tested IQ (given by a psychologist) was below 120, but thanks for the warm welcomes

Pitch has nothing to do with IQ, as I'm sure the musically-inclined of WP can attest to.
