Hi all,
If you live in or around London and you are an aspie like I, I would be interested in getting to know you. My doctor suggested that I ask around. I am 17 tomorrow (22 Oct), and I would like someone very near to my age (my parents do not like me involving with people that deviate too much from my age) to befriend.
Prefer female, but male is OK.

If you have a gander under Jamie's avatar you'll see he comes from creepy Crawley! That's about half way between London and Brighton, near Gatport Airwick...

Yeah I grew up in East Grinstead and now live in Haywards Heath. My Dad's family were from Redhill and my Mum's relations all live in Horley.

I like it round here, though I prefer the countryside to the towns.

SteelMaiden I am not going to e-mail you as I am 31 and have no wish to be killed by your Mum You sound cool, though.

I agree - Been to haywards heath millions of times, go their every friday to see my nan that lives sorta near franklands village. Crawley is more towards the industrial way and all those places wheras country side and landscape views and all that are interesting like the coast southdowns ditchling beacon/pyecombe. As for horley I ride their on my bike often to warm up when I do bike rides.

Some of the little villages like Balcombe, West Hoathly and Newick are nice. My favourite proper town is Lewes - I used to work there and it was great. Really friendly place, fascinating architecture, and slightly eccentric

Yes, 31 is a bit old, haha. Crawley is not too bad, and besides, I just need someone that I can relate to i.e. talk about things happening around London, not in America!

I'm TOYING with maybe going there next year around may or so.(already have a few other autistics(2 AS and 1HFA, 2 are maybe within 2 hours of you) to possibly meet up with.) I'm male, and older than you, but I won't be down there that long and am really just curious, and maybe will make some friends. It DOES depend on how comfortable I feel about my job, etc... though.
