Hello!

Im a 29year old girl from Norway ( so excuse my poor grammar!)..
In the moment im being testet if i have aspergers or other diagnosis on the ASD spektrum.
I have a ADHD diagnosis, from age 19. But i think im more AS than ADHD. Im not particulary hyperactive.. I daydream alot in my own litle bubble :) Im not lonely, i just thrive in my own company.
I take things very litterary, and have daily missunderstandings with peoples intentions and meaning. I most often meet troubles because peole (NT`s) tend to say things they dont mean, and mean things day dont say.. quite confusing for me as i tend to always be a 100percent honest. Even though its not appreciatet every time :) I dont mean to be evil, im just honest.
I really like this forum, and already have learned alot about the differences in functioning and thinking for the NT vs the ASD- person. I really appreciate the thread where ASD folks and NT`s can exchange questions and experiences.
Looking forword to surf WP alot in the future :)

Welcome to WP! As I have said before on this website, your English is much better than my German.

You sound a bit like me! I've been able to learn some things about interacting with people over time. I am one who seeks advice and obsesses about things I don't understand so maybe that's why. I'm also pretty flexible, I don't think many ASD people are to the same extent that I am though? Anyway, welcome! Hope you continue to learn from this site!

Thanks for the welcome guyes :D

I already feel at home here...even befor i startet the "hi im new-thread"
Ive watched Autism TV in here with ALex Plank and others, and i can realy relate :) it feels nice...as i watched a kind of seminar , i started crying becauce it made me feel like someone knwew how i felt for the very first time...i could hear "my self" speaking. The feeling of community and fellowship has never ever ever existed in my body before...i now know how normal pelople feel when they get together, share interests and support among eachother.
