And the mature crowd. I am from Birmingham.Cool!! ! Rocket City here. I can see the Space and Rocket Center from my front porch. I go to B'ham a few times a year, especially for the Vintage Motorcycle Festival at Barber.

Too cool!! !! Or as I like to say, “Choice!! !” I never thought of it that way, but you’re right, it is aspie heaven. Normally when I go, I will arrive not long after it opens and stay until just before closing. I like to go in the “off season” when it’s not too busy. Oddly enough, that’s one of those museums that never seems crowded even when there are a lot of people in it. I think it’s because of the many levels.
I’m not sure which part is my favorite, but I have to lean toward the really old Harleys and Indians. I also like the unusual stuff like the Morbidelli. I’d give a year’s salary just to take that out on the track once.
From the image and what you shared, can I assume you’ve frequented the place and possibly live nearby?

Another Alabama person?
I haven't been to Barber, but I should take my son. He likes motorcycles, but he's 4 and has some issues with being in large public spaces. He'd escape from me and break something and get us banned.

Yep! It’s nice to see other homefolk here. Barber is most definitely worth the visit. The way the museum is laid out probably would not be a problem for your son. It’s unlike any museum I’ve visited. They have over 500 motorcycles on display at any given time. Because of his age, I’m not sure if he’d enjoy the rich significance of what he’d be seeing. Also, I’m sure he’d want to sit on them or climb into the sidecars. Shoot, I had to exercise extreme self-restraint to keep from doing that since everything is out in the open where you can touch them. Here’s a link to check the place out if you’re interested:
