Greetings fellow Wrong Planet members,
this is my first contact with WP although I've been a silent observer for some time now. My name is Steve and I was brought into this Earth in 1967. I'm a confirmed Aspie, diagnosed by two separate Psychiatrists throughout my time here. Most people think I'm weird but I'm not. I'm just different. Very different. My family are used to me and accept me for who I am. I'm very comfortable with who I am. Active but odd.

My long standing hobbies/obsessions are Astronomy, Geometry, Algebra, Primes and Computer Programming (mainly C && C++ for UNIX). I possess the ability to hyperfocus for extended periods of time but I'm crap in social situations and at reading social cues. Never really did get or feel comfortable around humans.

My favourite type of music is Drone. I like listening to Stars Of The Lid.

From what I've seen of this Website so far, I feel right at home here! I look forward to meeting other Aspies and forming new friendships with some of you in the future.

Regards,
SteveL :alien:

I've always been good at providing a shoulder to cry on - an ear to listen. What's troubling you Shabba?
