Hey everybody, my name is Nicholas Sayers, you can call me Nick.
I'm an 18 year old Caucasian with High-Functioning autism, and I've known about it for as long as I can remember.
I was born on March 22, 1995, and was diagnosed around the age of 3.
As a High School senior, my focus recently has turned to preparing for college, though forums and social networking, as well as spending time with my friends, has been a little bit of a procrastination so I don't have to deal with the stress as much as the others who work their butts off.
In my future, I hope to get an associate's degree in Biology/Art, and then a major in either Biology, Marine Biology, or Zoology.
Working with animals has been a dream of mine for a long time, as I used to watch Jack Hannah, Steve Irwin, Jeff Corwin, and other animal experts on TV directly engaging with diverse creatures. This has been my inspiration, and by going often to the LA Zoo, I have directed my own sights on landing a job there. Though I will most likely volunteer first.
I love watching Breaking Bad and Seinfeld, playing First Person Shooter games such as Battlefield 2 and Halo: Combat Evolved, and learning about World History, with key interest in the past century of warfare. Cultures intrigue me, and I often randomly develop short term interests in learning basic greetings and common phrases of different languages.
One time I tried learning Russian for a few weeks, but then lost my desire to keep going. Another time, learning Polish and Korean, but that lasted about a week or so. It goes on and off constantly.
My friends best identify me as a weird, loyal, and caring person. I hope I can make the best of my experience on here
