Heya, everybody! My name is StreakofEmerald of New Jersey, USA, and this is among my first posts on WrongPlanet! So, the first thing you may be asking is why I chose my username. Well, my birthstone is the emerald (if you haven't seen my profile birthday) and I decided it would somehow be a good idea to honor that by changing all of my public and/or personal-usage usernames to reflect that! Yay...creativity...
So, anyways, I was originally attracted to this site because of the fact that I personally could relate to its subject area. I suffer from mild Asperger's Syndrome, severe (unfortunately) OCD, social anxieties and occasional paranoia. Oftentimes, I have no motivation to make friends, and until recently I saw little to no purpose in doing so. Most days, I remain locked within the constraints of my own mind. It's difficult to get by sometimes with a resume such as that, but I work through it sufficiently well, I believe.
Anyways, I hope to have an incredibly positive experience on this public forum, meet a plethora of likeminded people and overall have a great time! I hope to see you all there!
