Attempting to find people to chat to

Greetings. I am Adam, I'm 27 years old and from New Zealand. I don't have any friends and am trying to reach out via the internet to find people to chat to. It's difficult to say what my interest are because, oddly I don't really have any. Like any at all. That is also part of my problem that I am working on.
There are some things I kind of like, but there is no burning passion for any one (or more) things in life.
I am also ADHD so please forgive me if I forget to check in and reply from time to time.

Hey Adam welcome.

I'm in Wellington at the moment for a new job (well coming up a year, a record for me!), but I have lived in several places in the North Island so far.
I like that it is finally turning in to winter, I very much dislike hot and bright weather.

Were you ever an extra in a LOTR film?

Haha (or Lol if you prefer), no I was not. I think I was still in primary school/early high school when that was going on. I grew up in a really small town and didn't have internet until I had nearly left high school so I know very little of what goes on around me.
I will say I have driven past a few of the places they shot the film though which is kind of cool.

I grew up on a small island off the coast of Scotland, we had it good with our isolated upbringing.

Who wants to be like everyone else?

Oh for sure, I like the isolation, was thinking more a long the lines of accounting for my lack of 'general knowledge' on things
Comparatively to my childhood I live in a big, busy place, it's so insane to me all the people everywhere. I'm confused how some people prefer it to the countryside.

Also, I had difficultly with walking on the pavements/pedestrian areas, so used to uneven rough ground that perfectly flat hard surfaces were alien.

Yes, I had a similar problem. It made my feet hurt to be on such uniform and solid surfaces for longer periods of time. I was used to bush/forest terrain and coastal/rocky terrain so pavements were definitely a different thing to adapt to.
